What are you the proudest of and works well in your service?
We are the proudest of our kind team of employees that always puts the clients first. In this company we always let the clients meet all our carers so they have the option of who will suit them best and consistently check in to make sure our clients are happy with how everything is going for them.
How do you ensure choice, control & person-centred care within your service?
We always keep our clients and carers in a set roster so they can grow comfortable with each other and feel they can express their needs. We also make sure our employees are up to date with all regulations and training to know how to let the clients choose and have as much control over their life as possible.
How do you maintain your provider compliance & ongoing obligations?
We regularly update our policies and procedures according to NDIS legislation and make sure staff are updated to any new updates. They all have personal access to the policy and procedures manuals to constantly be informed.
How do you market & advertise your service?
We have just created our websites, so when that is running smoothly, we will move onto social media platforms.
What do you find the most challenging about being a provider?
Finding clients is always difficult as it is a very competitive industry.
If you could give a few tips & tricks to other providers, what would they be?
We are only just starting out ourselves, so sadly, we don’t have any tricks and tips yet. All I can say is don’t give up and always keep everything up to date and organised; it can get messy very quickly.
