What Is The Role Of A Whistleblower?
Whistleblowers are critical in identifying and calling out misconduct and harm to clients and the community. We must always encourage whistleblowers to come forward with their concerns and protect them when they do!
Did You Know?
A whistle-blower can report any concerns that are not acting lawfully, ethically, or socially responsible; any known or suspected incidences of misconduct, dishonest or illegal activity, violence, abuse, neglect, or exploitation and their privacy rights will be protected.
Did You Know?
If a whistleblower does not feel comfortable sharing details of their identity, they can make an anonymous disclosure.
An anonymous disclosure is still eligible for protection under the law. If you decide to remain anonymous throughout and after the investigation, no investigations will be carried out to try and identify them.
If you feel comfortable doing so, you should always make an anonymous disclosure using an email address to enable the investigating personnel to ask you follow-up questions or provide you with updates about the status of the investigation.
