NEW - 2025-26 Price Guide

Key changes in the 2025-26 PAPL:

 

  • Early Childhood Age Limit:

    The early childhood approach now covers children up to 9 years old, an increase from the previous age limit of 7, according to the NDIS

     

  • Provider Responsibilities and Conflicts of Interest:

    New text has been added to explain provider responsibilities and the need to declare and manage conflicts of interest, according to the NDIS

     

  • Independent Pricing Committee (IPC) Review:

    The NDIA has released the IPC review of NDIS pricing, which will inform future pricing reforms, according to the NDIS

     

  • Price Limit Changes:

    Several support items have seen price limit increases, including some core supports, psychology and nursing supports, and behavior support services, according to Team DSC

     

  • Support Coordination:

    Price limits for Support Coordination (Level 1) and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching have also increased. 

     

  • Travel Allowance:

    Changes to the travel allowance for support workers include petrol costs up to $0.99 per kilometer and other transport costs, according to CareMaster

     

  • Removal of Ratio-Based Pricing:

    The transitional period for group and center-based pricing ended on December 31, 2023, and ratio-based support items have been removed from the main NDIS Support Catalogue. 

     

  • Increased Price Limits:

    Price limits for supports delivered by disability support workers were increased to reflect minimum wage and superannuation increases, according to the NDIS

     

How these changes affect participants & providers:

  • Unspent Funds:

    Any unspent funds in a participant's plan at the end of the financial year will be automatically increased to cover the cost of NDIS supports at the new price limits, according to the NDIS

     

  • Negotiating with Providers:

    Participants can negotiate with their providers on the cost of supports, and providers cannot charge more than the price limit, according to the NDIS

     

  • Service Agreements:

    Providers may need to update service agreements with participants to reflect the new price limits, according to the NDIS
