Planning my start-up as a ndis provider
A business plan is a written document that steps you through the start-up, growth or management your business. Examples of business planning are:
- What is your ideal client? Based on the services you wish to offer, who is your ideal client? (Age, location etc)
- What will set you apart from other NDIS providers?
- How will you attract clients?
- What is your business structure, roles and responsibilities?
- What is your service location/s, office base and are you going to set up satellite sites?
- What locations, sites, premises, and facilities suitable for the services your want to offer or not?
- Do you or will you require employees, resources, checks, and certifications for these locations/sites?
- Will you employ or subcontract employees?
- Will you externally train the employees and by whom?
- Do you have all your Policies, Procedures, Forms, Registers & Plans in place?
- What are your systems, processes, and workflows for client and employee onboarding, invoicing, payroll, rostering, incidents, complaints, recruitment, care planning, meetings, communication, teamwork, reporting, writing notes, filing, archiving etc?
- What are your systems, processes, and workflows for reviewing everything and continuous improvement?
